Parvo: Deadly and Preventable

Parvo Deadly and Preventable

Parvo Deadly and Preventable

If you have ever been unfortunate to witness a dog suffering from Parvo, believe me it’a not something your will soon forget!

Canine Parvovirus most common form is intestinal, and usually in pups. The canine will have severe vomiting, diarrhea, no appetite and weight loss. Untreated, the canine virus is deadly to most dogs and very expensive to treat. Oddly enough the preventative is very inexpensive.

Here is an article I read about a case in Colorado: http://www.9news.com/news/article/268140/346/Spike-in-parvo-cases-has-dog-owners-vets-concerned

Please have your dog vaccinated.

But seriously, when you’re eating dinner with guests and your dog unleashes some flatulence, it’s not so funny anymore.

There are various methods to deter gas in dogs. Call me at my Mooresville Veterinarian Hospital for advice and tips of dog Flatulence.
